Welcome gorgeous!

My name is Carol, I’m 42 and live in a small Lincolnshire village with my lovely hubby, two gorgeous Daughters, my parents, and an ever growing collection of animals. We currently have dogs, chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks, and two Shetland ponies; I think that’s enough for the time being.

The house , garden, and animals certainly keep us busy but I still have time to pursue my passion for real food and uncomplicated guilt free eating.

Trained as a nutritional therapist, detox specialist, and weight loss coach, I wanted to bring this together with my own experiences with food and dieting to raise awareness that dieting not only doesn’t work but also can lead us down a very dark path from which it can be increasingly difficult to find the light.

I battled for 20 years with seriously disordered eating patterns, stumbling from one diet to the next; bingeing, starving, purging, over-exercising; you name it, I did it!

Life was awful, trying to hide what was going on from everyone around me; trying to get through everyday life whilst being undernourished and lacking energy; being desperate to be in control when I was anything but. Oh yes, It was tough.

It wasn’t until I discovered a love for real food and learned how to accept, appreciate, and love myself, my body, and life, that things finally started to fall into place.

That’s why I want to share with you, to take you on a journey to freedom from dieting that you perhaps never thought was possible.

To join me on this journey of discovery, please take a look at my blog, where I will share delicious recipes, stories, musings, and tips and advice on how you can make the most of your life.

Stay nourished

Carol xxx
